The momentum of grassroots engagement continued in Kanziku Ward, Kitui South, as Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, hosted the Kitui County UDA delegation for a major engagement with residents and local leaders.
Dr. Kaki, the Kitui South MP and UDA Kitui County Chairperson, used the forum to reaffirm her commitment to working closely with communities and leaders to ensure that government programmes and development initiatives reach residents at the grassroots.
She highlighted key areas including education, infrastructure, water development, youth empowerment, economic opportunities and social development, emphasizing the importance of sustained engagement with residents in identifying and addressing local priorities.
Among the infrastructure projects highlighted was the Ikutha–Kanziku–Mutha road, whose tarmacking works are progressing, a development expected to improve connectivity and movement of people and goods across the area.
The Kanziku engagement further placed Dr. Kaki at the centre of ongoing grassroots mobilisation and public engagement efforts in Kitui County, as she continues to work with local leaders and residents on development priorities.
