Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has commissioned the 70-metre Ngunga River Drift along the Kisayani–Imwange–Katundu–Kilui Road in Mutomo/Kibwea Ward, further strengthening his administration’s efforts to improve road connectivity and accessibility across the county.
The County-funded project is expected to ease movement for residents and motorists, particularly during periods when river crossings become difficult.
The commissioning was attended by area MCA Hon. David Masaku and County Cabinet officials. The project is among more than 119 projects implemented in Mutomo/Kibwea Ward since August 2022, highlighting Governor Malombe’s continued focus on delivering development at the grassroots.
