Kitui incoming Governor CPA Nicholas Mulila MBS was warmly received with joy, cheers and ululations on Sunday as he attended the Miambani Parish Family Day in Miambani Ward.
Mulila’s reception reflected the growing enthusiasm around his 2027 gubernatorial bid, with residents turning out to welcome and interact with the leader widely known as “Mulila the Third.”
The event provided an opportunity for Mulila to join the faithful in celebrating the importance of family, faith and community unity while engaging residents on issues affecting the people of Miambani and the wider Kitui County.
During his interaction with residents, Mulila reiterated the importance of servant leadership, unity and development, emphasizing the need for leaders to remain connected to the people and focus on programmes that improve their livelihoods.
His presence at the parish family day further underscored his continued grassroots engagement across Kitui as he seeks to build a strong foundation ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.
Mulila has increasingly positioned himself as a leader committed to bringing a new approach to the leadership and development of Kitui County, with his supporters rallying behind his vision under the “Mulila the Third” banner.
