Police officers in Mbooni East Sub-county, Makueni County, have commenced investigations following the discovery of a body believed to be that of a man aged between 27 and 30 years. The body was found lying by the roadside, approximately one meter from Tawa market, along the route to Masii.
According to Mbooni East OCPD, Mr. Ephraim Karani, the identity of the deceased remains unknown. He noted that the body was discovered by members of the public, who then alerted the police. The officers responded promptly and transferred the body to Mbooni Sub-county Hospital Mortuary as they begin efforts to identify the deceased and establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
Authorities have urged anyone with information that could assist in the investigation or help identify the deceased to come forward.
