Residents of Ngangani village are in shock after a local woman claimed that one of the three hens she recently bought from a trader in Masinga turned blind and then mysteriously transformed into a tortoise overnight.
the owner of the hen, said she noticed the bird behaving strangely before going completely blind. The next it had vanished from her coop and in its place was a tortoise.
The bizarre incident has drawn crowds to her home, with many speculating it could be witchcraft or a spiritual warning. Local authorities and religious leaders are investigating, while veterinary experts have been called in to examine the creature.
