Hope for Kitui West: Generali Kimanga Celebrates Heroic Service of Warrant Officer Danvic Titus Kisoo

The mikuyu mikya village of Kwa Mutonga in Kithumula, Kitui West, came alive with color and emotion as family, friends, and dignitaries gathered to celebrate the remarkable career and retirement of Warrant Officer (I) Danvic Titus Kisoo, a distinguished son of the soil who has served the Republic of Kenya with loyalty, integrity, and courage.

The colorful thanksgiving and retirement ceremony was graced by Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga, the County Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development and the incoming Kitui West MP, who was also the chief guest at the event.

In his inspiring keynote address, Waziri Kimanga paid glowing tribute to Mr. Kisoo for his unwavering dedication, discipline, and patriotism throughout his decades of service in the Kenya Air Force.

“You have fought bravely, led wisely, and inspired deeply. Your life reminds us that being a soldier of the Republic and a soldier of Christ can walk hand in hand,” Kimanga said, quoting from 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

He described Kisoo as a man of faith, humility, and leadership, whose service to both God and country has left an indelible mark on those he worked with and those he led.

“Retirement is not the end of service,” Kimanga added. “It is simply a change of battlefield from defending the skies to serving the community and family with the same zeal and purpose.”

The joyous event was filled with prayers, songs of thanksgiving, and heartfelt tributes, as the community came together to honor one of their own who rose through the ranks with honor and dignity.

In his closing remarks, Waziri Kimanga extended deep appreciation to Kisoo’s family for their steadfast support, emphasizing that their sacrifice and encouragement made it possible for him to serve the nation with distinction.

The incoming Kitui West MP, Kimanga, further lauded Kisoo as a shining example to the youth, urging the next generation to emulate his discipline, integrity, and unwavering commitment to national service.

As the sun set over Kwa Mutonga, one message resonated clearly Warrant Officer (I) Danvic Titus Kisoo’s legacy will forever live on, not only in the Kenya Air Force, but also in the hearts of the people of Kitui West.
