Apostle Jacob Kyalo Hails President Ruto for Transformative Projects in Kitui, Urges Unity Among Clergy

  1. Apostle Jacob Kyalo of Maximum Miracle Center, Kalundu, has lauded President William Ruto for his development efforts in Kitui County, commending the government for delivering key infrastructure projects that have transformed the face of the region.

Speaking to the members of press Apostle Kyalo applauded the President for spearheading the construction of the Ithookwe Stadium, the ongoing affordable housing project, the modernization of Ithookwe Airstrip, and the establishment of a State Lodge in Kitui.

“I want to sincerely thank His Excellency President William Ruto for remembering Kitui County. The projects he has initiated here from the stadium to the housing units are visible signs of true leadership and commitment to development,” said Apostle Kyalo.

He went on to officially welcome the Head of State to Kitui, calling on him to set aside time during his next visit to engage directly with the clergy from the county. According to Kyalo, such a meeting would foster mutual understanding and strengthen collaboration between the Church and the government.

“I humbly urge the President, once he visits Kitui, to take a moment and speak with the clergy. We have many issues that can only be resolved through dialogue and partnership,” he added.

In a bold message directed at church leaders, Apostle Kyalo cautioned bishops and pastors against “double dealing,” urging them to stand firm and maintain integrity in their spiritual leadership.

He further condemned divisions among Kitui clergy who criticize the President’s visits to certain denominations, such as the Catholic Church or the Africa Inland Church (AIC). Kyalo termed such sentiments as misplaced and contrary to the gospel of unity.

“It is wrong for any bishop to question where the President chooses to worship. The Church should be united, not divided by denomination or political bias. We must all serve one God and respect leadership,” Apostle Kyalo emphasized.

He concluded by calling for respect toward those in authority, reminding believers that all power comes from God.

“Those in power, starting from the President, deserve our respect. Leadership is ordained by God, and we must honor it,” he declared.

Apostle Kyalo’s remarks come at a time when national dialogue around unity, respect for leadership, and collaboration between the Church and the State continues to gain momentum across the country.
