The incoming Kitui West Member of Parliament 2027, and current Kitui County Executive for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga, today joined mourners at Kwamutonga in Kithumula Ward, Kitui West, for the burial ceremony of the late Mzee Daniel Kitema Kimulu.

Speaking during the emotional farewell ceremony, Generali Kimanga paid glowing tribute to the late Kitema, describing him as a visionary elder who valued education, championed development, and stood firmly for unity in the community.

“Mzee Kitema was a man who believed in the power of education and worked tirelessly to uplift those around him,” Kimanga said. “He loved progress, he loved people, and above all, he valued unity. His legacy will continue guiding generations to come.”

Generali Kimanga, who continues to gain momentum and overwhelming support as the preferred next MP for Kitui West, took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of education and community cohesion values he pledged to advance for the prosperity of Kitui West residents.

The county executive also delivered the official message of condolence from Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe, whom he represented at the ceremony, alongside the Chief Officer for Energy, Mr. Nyamai. Governor Malombe, through Kimanga, extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and committed continued county support to the community.

As he continues reaching out to grassroots communities and standing with families in moments of need, Generali Kimanga’s presence and leadership at the burial further underscored his growing reputation as a development–oriented, people-focused leader ready to steer Kitui West to a brighter future.
