Hon. Dr. Makali Mulu Commissions Rehabilitated Deputy County Commissioner’s Office and Parking

Hon. Dr. Makali Mulu, CBS, on Friday morning commissioned the completed rehabilitation of the Deputy County Commissioner’s (DCC) office and its parking facilities, marking a significant milestone in the improvement of government infrastructure in Kitui.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Makali Mulu said the modernization of the offices was aimed at strengthening service delivery and creating a conducive working environment for both government officers and members of the public seeking services.

“The completion of this rehabilitation project is a clear demonstration of our commitment to improving public service delivery. Modern and well-equipped offices are essential for efficiency, accountability, and better interaction between government officers and the wananchi,” said Dr. Mulu.

He noted that the upgraded facilities, including the improved parking area, will enhance accessibility and convenience for Kitui residents, especially those who frequently visit the Deputy County Commissioner’s office for administrative services.

Dr. Mulu further emphasized that investing in public infrastructure is key to bringing services closer to the people and ensuring that government operations are carried out in a dignified and professional environment.

Local administrators and stakeholders who attended the event welcomed the development, terming it a timely boost to service provision and public confidence in government institutions.

The rehabilitation of the Deputy County Commissioner’s office and parking forms part of broader efforts to modernize government facilities and improve the overall quality of public service delivery across Kitui County.
