Fredrick Kimanga, popularly known as Waziri Generali and the Kitui County Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, has condoled with the family of Mukungua Kimwemwe following the passing of Ngami Mukungua.
Kimanga visited the bereaved family at Kwa Nzingii Village in Mutonga, Kithumula Ward, Kitui West Constituency, where he expressed his heartfelt sympathies and stood in solidarity with them during this difficult period. The late Ngami Mukungua was an in-law to former George Ndoto, a respected leader who once served as the Speaker of the Kitui County Assembly.
Speaking during the condolence visit, Waziri Generali described the late Ngami mukungua as a dedicated family man whose life touched many within the community. He encouraged the family to remain strong and united as they mourn their loved one.
In a show of compassion and leadership, Kimanga also assisted the family during a harambee organized to support burial arrangements. His contribution went a long way in easing the financial burden facing the family as they prepare to lay their loved one to rest.
The burial of the late Ngami Mukungua is slated for Thursday this week at his home in Kwa Nzingii Village. Leaders, relatives, friends, and residents from across Kitui West are expected to attend the ceremony to pay their last respects.
Waziri Generali reaffirmed his commitment to standing with the people of Kitui West not only in development matters but also during moments of grief, noting that leadership is about walking with the community in both joyful and challenging times.
