Kitui County officials and business stakeholders said preparations for an upcoming trade event were in top gear during a meeting held at the Kitui County Chamber of Commerce.
Assistant Director of Trade Sharon Munyao said the event would provide a valuable platform for local communities to learn, showcase their products, and explore new markets.
Her remarks were supported by Social Safeguards and Gender Mainstreaming Officer Juliet Mwendwa, who said exhibitors and stakeholders would also get an opportunity to interact with traders and agribusiness farmers.
Event Manager Dr. Patrick Kutu said mobilization efforts were progressing well and expressed confidence in the success of the event.
Also present at the meeting were Chamber of Commerce CEO Mr. Musili and group coordinators, who pledged support for the event.
