Hon. Nicholas Mulila Leads Christians in Ngetha Function at Mbitini Parish

Nicholas Mulila today joined hundreds of faithfuls at Mbitini Parish in Kitui Rural Constituency, Kitui County, where he led Christians during this year’s Ngetha function in a colorful and spiritually uplifting event.

The occasion brought together church leaders, believers, local residents, and community stakeholders who gathered in unity and prayer to celebrate faith, thanksgiving, and community development. Mulila received a warm reception from the congregation, with many praising his humility, leadership qualities, and continued engagement with the people at the grassroots level.

Addressing the faithful during the function, Mulila emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and servant leadership in transforming Kitui County. He noted that churches play a vital role in strengthening moral values and fostering social cohesion within communities.

The hopeful 2027 Kitui gubernatorial candidate called upon leaders to remain close to the people and support initiatives that uplift the lives of ordinary wananchi. He also encouraged Christians to continue praying for peace, development, and prosperity in Kitui County and the nation at large.

Religious leaders present lauded Mulila for standing with the church and participating in community activities, saying such engagements reflect a leader who understands the needs and aspirations of the people.

The Ngetha function was marked by prayers, worship sessions, traditional celebrations, and moments of thanksgiving, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness among the faithful.

As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gain momentum, Mulila’s presence at Mbitini Parish is seen by many as part of his growing connection with residents across Kitui County as he positions himself for the county’s top seat.
