Fridah Makasi Joins Mbitini Redeemed Gospel Church Service and Leads Fundraising for Church Construction

The incoming Kitui County Women Representative aspirant, Hon. Fridah Makasi, on Sunday joined worshippers at Mbitini Redeemed Gospel Church for a lively church service and a fundraising event aimed at supporting the ongoing church construction project.

The service, held at Mbitini in Kitui County, brought together congregants, church leaders, and local residents who gathered in a spirit of worship, unity, and community development. The event also focused on mobilizing resources to accelerate the completion of the church building, which has been under construction.

Hon. Makasi, who has been actively engaging with grassroots communities across Kitui County, commended the church leadership and faithful for their commitment to completing the house of God. She emphasized the importance of supporting religious institutions as centers of moral guidance, unity, and social development.

She also encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in faith while continuing to contribute towards the completion of the project, noting that churches play a key role in strengthening community values and nurturing responsible leadership.

Local church leaders expressed appreciation for her presence and contribution, describing the visit as a strong show of support for both the church project and the wider community of Mbitini. They noted that such engagements help to fast-track development initiatives within the church.
The fundraising event attracted contributions from congregants and well-wishers, with proceeds expected to go directly toward advancing the construction works.

Hon. Makasi continues to position herself as a strong grassroots leader focusing on community empowerment, religious support, and development-oriented leadership across Kitui County.
