Youth unemployment remains one of the biggest challenges facing Mwingi Central, with many young people calling for skills training, access to affordable capital, and support for entrepreneurship.
As the constituency looks towards 2027, residents have expressed confidence in the incoming Member of Parliament, whom many describe as the “Mwingi Central Saviour,” to address the challenges facing the youth.
The incoming MP is expected to champion programs that promote job creation, skills development, and business opportunities, enabling young people to actively participate in the local economy.
Residents believe that empowering the youth will help reduce poverty, stimulate economic growth, and unlock a brighter future for Mwingi Central. Many now see the 2027 leadership transition as an opportunity to bring transformative leadership focused on the needs and aspirations of the constituency’s young people.
