The incoming Kitui County Woman Representative, Hon. Fridah Makasi, was the chief guest during the colorful celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of Kalitini DCC at AIC Itiko Church, where she led a successful fundraiser in support of the District Church Council (DCC) development kitty.
The thanksgiving celebration brought together Christians from the AIC churches of Kakalani, Kavaliki, Itiko, Mutulu, Ngiluni, Yumbu, Kalimani, Itolo, and Ng’etha, who gathered to celebrate three decades of faith, unity, and spiritual growth within the Kalitini DCC.
Addressing the congregation, Hon. Makasi applauded the church for its unwavering role in nurturing moral values, promoting peace, and spearheading community development. She encouraged believers to continue supporting church initiatives, noting that strong faith institutions are essential in building a united and prosperous society.
As the chief guest, Hon. Makasi reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with faith-based organizations to advance education, youth empowerment, and social development across Kitui County.
