Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has presided over the groundbreaking of Imilini Dispensary in Kauti, Lower Kaewa Ward, marking another milestone in her administration’s efforts to bring quality healthcare closer to residents.
The new facility is expected to serve approximately 3,500 residents and will offer essential services including maternal and child health (MCH), outpatient care, child welfare clinic (CWC) and pharmacy services.
Governor Ndeti said the dispensary will reduce the distance residents travel to access basic medical services. The facility is expected to be completed within 90 days, reinforcing her people-centred development agenda.
The project underscores Governor Ndeti’s commitment to expanding healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that residents across Machakos can access essential services closer to home.
