Former Mwingi Central MP Hon. Joe Mutambu has sharply criticised Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi, calling on him to uphold decency and responsible conduct, particularly in matters involving students and pupils.
Mutambu urged the legislator to exercise restraint and observe proper manners, warning that leaders have a responsibility to protect the dignity and moral wellbeing of young people.
He said political leaders should serve as role models in society and avoid behaviour or remarks that could negatively influence children and students.
“Take your sexual behaviours away from our students and pupils and have manners,” Mutambu told Mulyungi, insisting that public leadership demands discipline, responsibility and respect for the community.
Mutambu further called for leaders to focus on issues affecting residents, including education, development and the welfare of young people, rather than engaging in conduct that could undermine public confidence in leadership.
