Nzilu urges MCAs to support public participation bill to empower Kitui residents

Kitui County Assembly Deputy Speaker and Kyangwithya West MCA Hon. Christopher Nzilu Nzioka has urged fellow MCAs to support his bill on public participation, saying it will help educate residents on their rights and their role in county governance.

Nzilu, who is eyeing the Kitui Central parliamentary seat in 2027, said the bill seeks to strengthen public understanding of public participation and ensure residents are better informed and actively involved in decisions that affect their lives and development priorities.
