Nairobi business mogul Boniface Muli alias munaa wa minaa has emerged as a key voice in the 2027 Kitui Central parliamentary race after hosting more than 3,000 residents from Kyangwithya West at his home, where they declared their support for Christopher Nzilu Nzioka.
The residents reportedly challenged Muli to provide political direction ahead of the 2027 elections, maintaining that Nzilu is the leader best suited to represent Kitui Central.
Muli called on politicians to embrace peaceful politics, unity and issue-based campaigns. He also disclosed that several gubernatorial aspirants had requested meetings with him, promising to engage them before presenting their proposals to the people.
Speaking at the same gathering, youth leader Eng. Francis Musakue strongly endorsed Nzilu, describing him as a leader who has consistently stood with young people and understands their challenges.
Musakue maintained that the youth have made their decision to rally behind Nzilu, whom he described as a strong contender capable of clinching the Kitui Central parliamentary seat in 2027.
The growing show of support signals an increasingly competitive political contest in Kitui Central as aspirants intensify their grassroots engagements.
