Makueni County Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, widely regarded as the “super governor,” today joined Wiper Party leader Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka at his highly anticipated homecoming declaration in Tseikuru, Mwingi North, Kitui County.
The grand event drew a large crowd and featured the presence of leaders from more than ten political parties, underscoring Kalonzo Musyoka’s enduring political influence.
Notable attendees included National Assembly Speaker JB Muturi, former Cabinet Secretaries Eugene Wamalwa and Peter Munya, Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi, Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe, and Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti. Former deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, and party leader of (DCP), delivered a powerful endorsement of Kalonzo Musyoka, calling him “the only leader who bears no scars”, and describing him as a “trusted and peaceful leader this nation can rely on.”
In his remarks, Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jnr strongly criticized President William Ruto’s recent apology made during the National Prayer Breakfast, labeling it as insincere and out of touch with the realities facing Kenyans.
The governor emphasized the need for genuine leadership and accountability, aligning himself with Kalonzo’s call for national unity and ethical governance.
The Tseikuru declaration has been widely interpreted as a significant step in Kalonzo Musyoka’s political journey, possibly setting the stage for a 2027 presidential bid, with growing support from influential leaders across the country.
