GRAND MAKUENI AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITION AND TRADE FAIR 2025 SET TO PROMOTE CLIMATE-SMART AGRICULTURE

Makueni County is set to host the highly anticipated Grand Makueni Agricultural Exhibition and Trade Fair 2025, a landmark event aimed at revolutionizing agricultural practices through climate-smart innovations and trade partnerships. The event will take place on 1st and 2nd August 2025 at the Makindu Show Ground, drawing stakeholders from across the country and beyond.

Under the theme “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth,” the exhibition seeks to create a platform where farmers, agribusiness investors, researchers, government agencies, and development partners can engage on practical and innovative solutions to address the challenges posed by climate change in agriculture.

Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, the visionary leader at the helm of Makueni County, has been a strong advocate for agricultural transformation and environmental sustainability. His administration has positioned the county as a model for climate-resilient development through initiatives that empower farmers, boost food security, and foster agribusiness growth.

“This exhibition is not just an event, it is a movement towards a smarter, greener, and more profitable agricultural future,” Governor Mutula emphasized during the launch announcement. “We invite all partners to walk with us in this journey of sustainability and inclusive economic development.”

Attendees can expect exhibitions on modern farming technologies, irrigation innovations, renewable energy solutions for agriculture, value addition, agritech startups, and access to trade financing and markets. The fair will also feature training sessions, panel discussions, and business networking forums.

The Grand Makueni Agricultural Exhibition and Trade Fair 2025 underscores the county’s commitment to positioning agriculture not only as a livelihood pillar but also as a driver of economic transformation in the face of climate change.

Stakeholders, exhibitors, and visitors are encouraged to register early and be part of this defining moment in Kenya’s agricultural calendar. Makueni County is ready to showcase the future of farming smart, sustainable, and secure.
