Alex Nganga Affirms His Position as Minority Leader in Kitui County Assembly

Miambani Ward MCA, Hon. Alex Nganga, has reaffirmed that he remains the Minority Leader in the Kitui County Assembly, representing the National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) party, whose party leader is Hon. Charity Kaluki Ngilu.

Speaking in Kitui, Hon. Nganga clarified that despite recent political speculations and shifting alliances within the Assembly, the NARC leadership structure in the county remains intact.

“I am still the Minority Leader of the NARC Party in the Kitui County Assembly, and our party leadership under Hon. Charity Ngilu remains firm. Hon. Sylvester Kitheka Munyalo continues to serve as the Minority Whip,” said Nganga.

He emphasized that the NARC party maintains unity and a clear vision in championing the interests of Kitui residents, especially on matters of good governance, transparency, and service delivery.

Nganga further called on fellow MCAs to focus on development and constructive debates that benefit the people of Kitui, rather than engaging in divisive politics.

“Our duty as elected leaders is to represent our people effectively and ensure that devolution works for them. Leadership is about service, not personal interests,” he added.
