Kitui West Residents Declare Waziri Generali Kimanga Their Choice for MP in 2027

Residents of Kitui West have sent a clear political signal ahead of the 2027 General Election, openly declaring Hon. Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga as their incoming Member of Parliament.

Speaking during the burial ceremony of the late rose kanini kithumbi malusi in Katheuni Village, matinyani ward kitui west, Hon. Kimanga outlined what he termed as true parliamentary leadership, emphasizing that the role of an MP goes far beyond the distribution of NG-CDF funds. He noted that an MP is mandated to legislate, provide oversight, lobby for national resources, and initiate development programmes that bring real and lasting change to the people.
“Leadership is not just about handing out funds. There are many responsibilities an MP must execute to transform the lives of wananchi,” Kimanga stated.

His message strongly resonated with the residents, who praised him for his experience, political maturity, and understanding of governance. Community leaders and locals alike described Kimanga as the leader equal to the task, arguing that Kitui West needs an MP with national exposure and the capacity to deliver beyond basic constituency projects.

In a show of unity and political resolve, residents publicly vowed to back Hon. Kimanga in 2027, stating that the time for change has come and that their decision is firm. They maintained that his leadership style and vision align with the aspirations of Kitui West.

The growing support positions Hon. Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga as a formidable force in the constituency’s political landscape, with residents increasingly viewing him as the leader capable of redefining representation and development in Kitui West.

As the 2027 race takes shape, the message from Matinyani Ward is unmistakable: Kitui West has decided, and the decision is Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga.
