Kitui West’s incoming Member of Parliament for 2027, Hon. Generali Fredrick Kimanga, intensified his grassroots engagements with a series of community visits and social functions across Kithumula Ward, reaffirming his commitment to leadership, unity, and development.
The day began with Hon. Kimanga attending the Ndwae Ngone Mwaitu ceremony of Kavinya and Mueni held in Kaliani, Kwa Mutonga. The cultural event brought together families and community members, offering Generali an opportunity to connect with residents and underscore the importance of preserving traditions while fostering social cohesion.
Later, the aspiring legislator proceeded to a dowry ceremony for Gladys and Charles, where he extended his heartfelt congratulations to the couple. Hon. Kimanga wished them a prosperous and harmonious marriage, emphasizing the value of strong family foundations in building a stable society.
Amid his engagements, Generali took time to address the public on civic responsibility, urging eligible residents to register as voters in the ongoing exercise being conducted by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) across the country. He stressed that voter registration is a critical pillar of democracy and a key step in shaping the future leadership of the nation.
Education also featured prominently in his message, with Hon. Kimanga reiterating that it remains the greatest equalizer in society. To wrap up the day, Generali joined the family of Musinga Mwaka during the dowry ceremony of Pastor Eunice and James Ngunu in Kwa Mutonga Village.
