Governor Wavinya Ndeti Urges Swift Action After Deadly Mwingi Clashes

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has called on the national government to act swiftly following inter community clashes in Mwingi that have left eight people dead.Speaking during the launch of the county’s 2025/2026 bursary program at Kithunguini Secondary School in Kathiani Sub County, the governor urged the Ministry of Interior and National Coordination to intervene decisively and restore calm.She emphasized the need for peace, unity and dialogue among communities, noting that stability is essential for development and the well being of residents.Governor Ndeti also called on all parties involved to embrace coexistence and work toward lasting solutions to prevent further loss of life.ENDS///…
