The political landscape of Kitui County has taken a dramatic new turn after Kitui County Minister for Agriculture, Dr. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele, officially declared his bid for the Kitui Senatorial seat in the 2027 General Election under the Wiper Patriotic Front ticket.
