Hon. Fridah Makasi Joined Family and Leaders in Paying Final Tribute to Former Mutito Councilor Kituti

The incoming Kitui County Woman Representative, Fridah Makasi, yesterday joined family members, friends, local leaders, and residents in mourning and celebrating the life of the late Justus Malonza Kimanthi, popularly known as Councilor Kituti, during his burial ceremony held at Mikuyuni in Miambani Ward, Kitui Central.

The late Councilor Kituti, who served as the former Councilor of Mutito, was remembered as a dedicated and humble leader who tirelessly served his people with commitment and passion. Hundreds of mourners gathered at his home on Saturday, May 23, 2026, to pay their final respects and honor his contribution to the growth and unity of the community.

Speaking during the burial ceremony, Hon. Fridah Makasi described the late Councilor Kituti as a respected and visionary leader whose service left a lasting impact on the people he represented. She noted that his dedication to public service and his close relationship with the community earned him admiration and respect across Kitui County.

Makasi also conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and encouraged them to remain strong and united during the difficult period of mourning. She emphasized the importance of preserving the legacy of leaders who devoted their lives to serving the people selflessly.
