Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to improving healthcare access across the county following the official commissioning of the Kamuthanga Dispensary Maternity Ward in Mutituni/Ngelani Ward. The newly established maternity facility is set to transform maternal and child healthcare services for more than 5,000 residents in the area by bringing quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare closer to the community.Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Governor Wavinya Ndeti said the project is part of her broader vision to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and ensure that every mother and child has access to safe and reliable medical services.“This maternity ward is more than a building; it is a promise fulfilled to the people of Kamuthanga. It represents our commitment to safeguarding the lives of mothers and children by providing healthcare services closer to where people live,” said Governor Ndeti. The facility will offer a wide range of essential maternal and child health services, including antenatal care, safe delivery services, postnatal care, immunization, and health education.
