Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare service delivery and ensuring that residents across the county have access to quality, efficient and dignified medical services.
The Governor today held a consultative engagement with Medical Superintendents from Machakos County’s nine sub-counties to assess the progress made in the health sector, identify operational challenges and explore practical interventions to further improve service delivery.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the performance of health facilities, address emerging challenges and strengthen coordination between the County Government and health facility leadership.
Governor Wavinya emphasised the importance of effective leadership, accountability and collaboration at every level of the healthcare system, noting that strong management is essential in improving efficiency, enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring that residents receive timely and quality medical care.
The consultative engagement is part of the Governor’s ongoing efforts to transform healthcare services across Machakos County through strategic investments, improved management and continuous engagement with health sector leaders.
Governor Wavinya Ndeti reiterated her commitment to building a responsive and people-centred healthcare system that prioritises the wellbeing of residents and ensures that every Machakos resident can access accessible, quality and dignified healthcare services.
