Kitui gubernatorial hopeful Hon. Nicholas Mulila has reaffirmed his commitment to ending the county’s long-standing water crisis, saying every resident deserves reliable access to clean and safe water.
Mulila stated that sustainable investment in water infrastructure not empty political promises is the only lasting solution for communities across Kitui. “If promises were water, Kitui would never be thirsty,” he said, emphasizing that water is a basic right that must be guaranteed to all.
The incoming governor hopeful further urged leaders to embrace integrity, accountability, and people-centered development, noting that public office should be used to transform lives rather than serve personal interests.
As the 2027 General Election approaches, Mulila continues to position himself as a development-focused leader determined to deliver practical solutions and improve the lives of Kitui residents.
