The Chair of the House of Bishops in Kitui, Bishop Kimolo, has praised President William Ruto for supporting church construction projects across Ukambani through his messenger, Elijah Kilii.
Bishop Kimolo said some clergy had previously felt that the President had forgotten them, but the ongoing church construction initiative has changed that perception and brought relief to churches struggling to complete their projects.
He cited Kilii’s recent involvement at Kithyoko AIC in Masinga, Machakos, Kyatune GNCA in Kitui South, and other churches across the region.
The clergy thanked President Ruto for the initiative, saying it has eased the burden facing churches and demonstrated that the government has not forgotten them.
Bishop Kimolo said the clergy remain firmly behind President William Ruto, appreciating what he described as his continued engagement with the church through Elijah Kilii.
