Kitui South MP Hon. Dr Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, has continued to strengthen her leadership of UDA in Kitui County, leading party leaders in an economic empowerment and public engagement forum at Nthangani in Thagicu Sub-County.
The engagement brought together UDA leaders and residents for discussions on economic empowerment, development and the Government’s agenda under President William Ruto. The event was marked by enthusiastic chants of “Ruto for two terms”, signalling strong support for the President’s 2027 re-election bid among sections of the gathering.
As the chairperson of UDA leaders in Kitui County, Kaki has increasingly positioned herself at the centre of efforts to articulate and popularise the President’s development agenda in the county. She used the forum to explain government programmes and opportunities aimed at improving livelihoods and empowering ordinary Kenyans.
Her leadership has also been characterised by taking the UDA message directly to communities through public engagements, allowing residents to raise their concerns while leaders explain the Government’s priorities.
The Nthangani meeting further underscored Kaki Nyamai’s growing role as a key voice for the Kenya Kwanza administration in Kitui, as she continues to rally leaders and residents around President Ruto’s development agenda.
Thagicu Sub-County includes Nthangani and several surrounding communities in Kitui County.
