Kitui County Referral Hospital (KCRH) has received medicines and essential medical supplies worth KSh 44.6 million, in a major boost to healthcare service delivery.
The consignment includes KSh 29 million worth of medicines from MEDS and KSh 15.6 million from KEMSA, alongside essential non-pharmaceutical supplies and consumables.
Chief Officer for Drugs and Medical Supplies Aggrey Kamba and KCRH Medical Superintendent John Mungai said the supplies will help stabilize stock levels, reduce shortages and ensure patients receive timely treatment.
The two leaders also urged residents to register with SHA to improve access to affordable healthcare and reduce out-of-pocket medical expenses.
