Frida Maua Steps Up Grassroots Support, Strengthening Her 2027 Bid in Kyome/Thaana

Frida Maua, the UDA-nominated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) in Kitui, has once again demonstrated her growing influence and commitment to grassroots empowerment through a series of impactful community initiatives across Kyome/Thaana Ward.

In Muanguni and Enzuva areas, Maua extended a helping hand to vulnerable families by distributing food supplies to over 100 women, easing the burden of the high cost of living and reaffirming her dedication to social welfare at the community level. The initiative was warmly received, with beneficiaries praising her consistent presence and responsiveness to their needs.

Further cementing her development-focused leadership, Maua also supported Kyangungi Primary School with essential resources aimed at improving the learning environment. Her intervention is expected to boost both morale and academic performance among pupils, reflecting her belief in education as a cornerstone for long-term community transformation.

Speaking during the engagements, Maua emphasized her resolve to uplift livelihoods, empower women, and invest in education pillars she says will define her leadership agenda.
Political observers and local residents alike now view her as a formidable frontrunner for the Kyome/Thaana MCA seat in the 2027 general election. Her hands-on approach, coupled with her visible track record, continues to build trust and momentum across the ward.

As the race towards 2027 gradually takes shape, Frida Maua’s growing grassroots network and development-driven agenda position her as a leader to watch one whose actions today are steadily shaping the future of Kyome/Thaana Ward.
