Kitui County has taken a significant step toward economic transformation with the official launch of the Kitui County Aggregation and Industrial Park (K-CAIP) at Kanyonyoo. Governor Dr. Julius Malombe presided over the historic event, emphasizing the park’s role in boosting industrialization, value addition, and investment in the region.
The launch coincided with the Kitui Investors’ Sensitization Forum 2025, which is being held under the theme “Showcasing Kitui’s Investment Opportunities.” The event has drawn investors, business leaders, and policymakers eager to explore the county’s vast potential in manufacturing, agribusiness, and value addition.

The Kitui County Aggregation and Industrial Park is expected to serve as a hub for processing and adding value to agricultural produce, minerals, and other locally available resources.
