The Wiper Democratic Movement on Saturday intensified its grassroots mobilization efforts in Kitui South Constituency through the commissioning of Wiper grassroots committees in Kanziko Ward.

The event brought together key party leaders, aspirants, and supporters in a major show of unity and strength as the party continued to solidify its structures ahead of the coming political season.
The exercise was led by Wiper Kitui South Chairman Dr. Malonza alongside other senior party officials who emphasized the importance of strong grassroots leadership in strengthening the party’s presence across the region.

The event was further boosted by the presence of Kitui County incoming Woman Representative aspirant Hon. Fridah Makasi, who joined fellow leaders in engaging with residents and strengthening Wiper’s grassroots network.

Hon. Fridah Makasi reaffirmed her dedication to empowering women, youth, and vulnerable groups across Kitui County. She emphasized the need for inclusive leadership, better representation, and people-driven development.

She noted that strong grassroots structures are essential in building a people-centered movement capable of addressing the challenges facing local communities.
