Residents of Ikanga have delivered a strong political message to rivals of Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, declaring that the Kitui South MP remains their preferred leader ahead of the 2027 elections.
The residents made the declaration during an economic empowerment programme in Ikanga, led by Dr. Kaki Nyamai, who also serves as the UDA Chairperson in Kitui County.
Chanting “Fotam!”, the residents said they were firmly behind Kaki, dismissing efforts by her political rivals to unseat her. They maintained that her record of grassroots empowerment and development speaks for itself.
The declaration is likely to intensify political competition in Kitui South, where several aspirants are positioning themselves to challenge the incumbent.
For the residents of Ikanga, however, the message was unmistakable: “Fotam is unstoppable, and Kaki Nyamai remains our choice.”
