Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki has reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to steering the country towards full economic recovery, emphasizing that the administration remains focused on transforming the lives of all Kenyans.
Speaking during a Sunday Worship and Thanksgiving Service at AIC Nairagie Enkare in Narok East Constituency, Prof. Kindiki said Kenya is on the right path to economic revitalization, with strategic interventions and programs already bearing fruit.
“We are firmly on track in our journey of economic recovery and are determined to fulfill all the promises we made to Kenyans. The task ahead is immense, but we are resolved to transform the lives of our people,” said the Deputy President.
He referenced a sermon by Pastor Nicholas Lemiso, drawn from the Book of Judges Chapter 8, which underscored the importance of perseverance despite criticism. “As encouraged by the message today, we will continue to focus on building our nation regardless of the negativity from detractors. Our mission is clear and guided by faith and commitment,” he added.
Prof. Kindiki further stressed the importance of national unity and patriotism, calling on Kenyans to embrace peace and coexistence as key pillars of development.
“As we continue to develop our country and uplift livelihoods, we must also nurture a sense of unity and patriotism across all communities. Kenya belongs to all of us, and our collective strength lies in our ability to live and work together harmoniously,” he said.
Highlighting the government’s openness to feedback, Prof. Kindiki reiterated that the Kenya Kwanza administration is committed to being a listening and responsive government.
“We are a responsible government. We value divergent views and are ready to listen and make improvements to ensure that every programme and project serves the people effectively,” he noted.
The Deputy President was accompanied by area MP Ken Aramat (Narok East), Gabriel Tongoyo (Narok West), Members of County Assembly (MCAs), and other local leaders who echoed the need for unity and community-driven development.
The event, which brought together hundreds of worshippers, also served as a moment of spiritual reflection and thanksgiving for ongoing development milestones in the region.
