The County Government of Kitui today signed an MoU with Tiva Secondary School’s Board of Management, paving way for Kenya Utalii College and the Africa Inland Church (AIC-K) to set up a Mission Hospital on the school’s land.
Governor Dr. Julius Malombe said the school has already benefited from a modern multipurpose hall and will now get a borehole. “We are not just building physical structures, we are investing in dignity, in opportunity and in empowerment of our youth,” he said.
The initiative, whose mutual partnership began in 2014, will see the land used for advanced training in tourism and hospitality and improved healthcare access for the community. The ceremony was witnessed by AIC clergy led by Area Bishop Joseph Muendo, Tiva Secondary BOM Chair Justus Mukiti Manandu, and members of the county cabinet.
