Machakos Youth Empowerment Graduation Ceremony currently underway in Style

The highly anticipated Machakos Youth Empowerment Program graduation ceremony is currently underway at Whitehouse, Machakos, drawing hundreds of trainees, families, and dignitaries in a vibrant celebration of youth skills and empowerment.

The event has officially begun, with the 1,000 trainees from Cohort 1 taking center stage as they proudly mark the completion of specialized training in courses including plumbing, food and beverage, motor vehicle mechanics, electrical and electronics, fashion and design, masonry, hairdressing and beauty therapy, and event management and DJ training.

Colorful parades, disciplined cadet displays, and cheering crowds have set an energetic tone for the ceremony. Although both the Governor of Machakos County and Chief Guest H.E. Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka have not yet addressed the gathering, excitement continues to build as the audience eagerly awaits their remarks.

The graduation highlights Machakos County’s continued investment in youth skills development and empowerment, a key pillar in strengthening employability and entrepreneurship across the region. Today’s milestone marks a major achievement in shaping job-ready youth capable of driving socio-economic growth in Machakos and beyond.

The ceremony, which commenced at 8:00 a.m., continues with official speeches, certificate issuance, and an expected inspirational address from the distinguished guests. The atmosphere remains electrifying as trainees look forward to stepping into new opportunities equipped with hands-on skills.

The Machakos youth empowerment journey continues and today stands as a testament to a county committed to building a skilled and self-reliant generation.
