Kitui Interfaith Forum Mobilizes Clergy for Climate Action and Policy Advocacy

Religious leaders from Kitui County have pledged to take a frontline role in building community resilience against climate change, following a high-level forum hosted by the Catholic Diocese of Kitui – Building Community Resilience Against Climate Change Project held at Kitui Pastoral Centre Conference in Kitui Town.

The forum, which drew together clergy from different denominations, sought to strengthen interfaith collaboration in tackling the pressing challenges of climate change and advancing climate justice. Organizers emphasized that faith leaders have a unique position in society to influence community behavior and policy direction.
