The Government of Makueni County has officially announced the Grand Makueni Agricultural Exhibition and Trade Fair 2025, set to take place on August 1st and 2nd, 2025, at the Makindu Show Ground. The landmark event is being organized through the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative Development, and is expected to attract national and regional stakeholders in agriculture and trade.
Themed “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth,” the event aims to showcase innovative, climate-resilient agricultural practices while creating meaningful linkages between farmers, agribusinesses, policy makers, and the public.

In preparation for the major event, the County Government has opened online registration for exhibitors, inviting individuals, organizations, SACCOs, agri-tech firms, government institutions, and corporate entities to reserve their slots.
