Waziri Generali Kimanga Shines as Guest of Honour at Katutu Parish Fundraiser, Represents Governor Malombe and Urges Kitui Residents to Register as Voters and Attend Mashujaa Day Celebrations

Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga, the County Executive for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, and the incoming Member of Parliament for Kitui West, on Sunday graced a vibrant church service and grand fundraiser at Katutu Parish, where he represented Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe as the Guest of Honour.

The event brought together hundreds of faithful, clergy, and local leaders in a powerful show of unity, faith, and community spirit  and it was here that Waziri Kimanga delivered a rousing message of leadership, patriotism, and civic responsibility.

Kimanga passionately urged Kitui residents to make the most of the ongoing voter registration exercise, reminding them that true change begins with responsible participation in democratic processes.

“Good leadership begins with making the right choices at the ballot. Let us not sit back and complain  the power is in our hands,” he declared. “I urge every eligible resident, especially the youth, to register as voters and be ready to elect leaders who have the heart to serve.”

Representing Governor Malombe, Waziri Kimanga also rallied the people of Kitui to turn out in large numbers for this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations, which will be proudly hosted in Kitui County at Ithookwe Stadium.

“As Kitui prepares to host the Mashujaa Day celebrations, I appeal to all residents to come out in full force to celebrate our heroes and showcase the beauty, culture, and hospitality of our great county,” he added.

The clergy and faithful at Katutu Parish lauded Waziri Kimanga for his humility, wisdom, and continued commitment to grassroots empowerment. His presence as Guest of Honour was described as both inspiring and uplifting  a reflection of his growing influence and connection with the people.

In his closing remarks, Waziri Kimanga reaffirmed his dedication to advancing community development, youth empowerment, and policies that uplift livelihoods across Kitui West.

As 2027 draws closer, Generali Kimanga continues to rise as the beacon of hope and transformation for Kitui West   a leader defined by vision, service, and an unwavering bond with his people.
