Governor Wavinya Ndeti has reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to expanding road infrastructure across Machakos County after inspecting the ongoing construction of the Maindaindu Box Culvert Drift along the Kayatta–Kwa Mwaura Road in Matungulu North Ward.
The Governor said the strategic infrastructure project reflects her government’s continued investment in modern road networks aimed at improving connectivity, enhancing public safety, and driving sustainable socio-economic development across the county.
Upon completion, the Maindaindu Box Culvert Drift will provide residents with safe and reliable passage throughout the year by eliminating disruptions caused by seasonal flooding. The project will facilitate the smooth movement of people, goods, and services while improving access to schools, health facilities, markets, and other essential amenities.
