Kitui’s incoming Woman Representative, Hon. Fridah Makasi, attended the burial ceremony of the late Mary Mulewa Mwalya in the Kabati area of Kitui East Constituency, where she joined family, friends and mourners in paying their final respects.
Hon. Makasi conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and urged residents to remain united and continue supporting one another during difficult times.Her presence was warmly received by mourners, reflecting her growing grassroots support across Kitui County.
As the 2027 race gains momentum, Hon. Makasi has continued to strengthen her connection with residents through consistent community engagement, with many supporters expressing confidence in her leadership and describing her as the leading candidate for the Kitui Woman Representative seat.
