State House and presidential point man and business mogul Elijah Kilii has taken centre stage in a major fundraising drive at Our Lady of Assumption Masinga Parish, leading a Harambee that raised KSh7.3 million towards the completion of the church project.
Kilii spearheaded the fundraising, bringing together senior government officials, political leaders, church leaders, faithful and well-wishers in a strong show of support for the parish’s development agenda.
The successful Harambee was attended by Masinga MP Hon. Joshua Mwalyo, Kitui South MP Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, PS Terry Mbaika, former CS Penninah Malonza, Nominated Senator Beth Syengo and Martha Mati, among other leaders.
The church community expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support, noting that the funds will provide a major boost towards completing the ongoing construction works at the parish.
Kilii’s leadership during the fundraiser has further positioned him as a key mobiliser of support for community and faith-based development initiatives, while reinforcing his commitment to supporting projects that directly benefit local communities.
The KSh7.3 million contribution marks a significant milestone for Our Lady of Assumption Masinga Parish as the church moves closer to completing its project.
