Commissioner Ben Muasya to Host Kitui UDA Leaders in Mutonguni for Empowerment and Public Engagement.

Commissioner Ben Muasya, who is eyeing the Kitui West parliamentary seat, will this Friday host Kitui UDA leaders in Mutonguni Ward for a major empowerment and public engagement programme.

The event is expected to bring together UDA leaders, local residents, community groups and other stakeholders as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and engage residents on issues affecting the constituency.
Muasya is expected to use the forum to interact directly with residents, listen to their concerns and discuss his vision for Kitui West ahead of the 2027 General Election.

The empowerment programme will also provide an opportunity for local residents and organised groups to benefit from support initiatives while engaging with leaders on matters of economic empowerment, development and opportunities for young people and women.
The gathering comes as political activities continue to gain momentum in Kitui County, with aspirants increasingly taking their campaigns to the grassroots through public meetings and community engagement.

Muasya has been positioning himself as a leader focused on grassroots participation, economic empowerment and inclusive development, seeking to consolidate support across Kitui West.
Friday’s engagement in Mutonguni is therefore expected to be closely watched as UDA leaders continue building their presence and strengthening their grassroots networks in the constituency ahead of the 2027 polls.Commissioner Ben Muasya to Host Kitui UDA Leaders in Mutonguni for Empowerment and Public Engagement.
