The incoming Kitui County Woman Representative hopeful, Fridah Makasi, on Friday attended the burial ceremony of the late Benedict Woiye at Musosya Village in Kauma Location, where she joined family members, friends, local leaders and residents in paying their final respects.

Speaking during the emotional send-off, Makasi conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, describing the late Benedict Woiye as a respected member of the community whose life touched many people within Kauma Location and beyond.

She urged residents to remain united during moments of grief and continue supporting families that lose their loved ones, noting that compassion and togetherness are important values that strengthen communities.
