Governor Julius Malombe today joined the residents of Ikanga, Kitui South, in mourning the late Rebecca Ngina Malonza during her burial ceremony.
The late Rebecca was a distinguished lecturer at Kenyatta University and the Kenya Institute of Professional Studies. She also made significant contributions to the hospitality industry, having worked with various organizations in the sector.
Addressing mourners, Governor Malombe reaffirmed his commitment to advancing development across the county. He emphasized that his administration remains dedicated to grassroots growth through strategic programs aimed at improving livelihoods.
Among the leaders in attendance were area MCA Cyrus Musyoka (Sonko), Mombasa Wiper pointman Dr. John Chamia, CECMs Mwendandu and Eng. Itiko, as well as Chief Officers Ferdinand Kathenge, Benjamin Chamia, Lynn Kitwan, Gladys Kivoto, Paul Ngei, and Jonathan Kyambi.
