Governor Wavinya Ndeti Champions Land Reforms as Key to Machakos Prosperity

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to transforming land into a pillar of economic growth and social stability, saying the county is laying the foundation for lasting prosperity.

Speaking on her government’s ongoing land reforms, Governor Ndeti said her vision is to ensure that land becomes a source of wealth for residents rather than a trigger for disputes and division.
“We are building a Machakos where land is a source of wealth, not a source of conflicts. Let us walk this path of prosperity together,” she said.

The governor emphasized that her administration is focused on creating systems that promote fairness, transparency, and efficient land management. She noted that proper land valuation, digitized records, and streamlined approval processes are essential in unlocking investment opportunities and protecting property rights.

Governor Ndeti said the reforms are designed to benefit both current and future generations by fostering an environment where residents can confidently invest, develop their property, and improve their livelihoods.
She called on Machakos residents to support the county’s vision, saying collective effort and trust in the reform process will help unlock the full economic potential of land across the region.

Under Governor Ndeti’s leadership, Machakos County continues to position itself as a progressive county focused on sustainable development, economic empowerment, and inclusive growth.
